| One of the premier disciples of Tiger Varadachariar, MDR, as he was affectionately called by his fans created a unique style of his own. He had a deep resonant voice with which he chose to render kritis in a super-slow tempo in an effort to bring out the musical values in the best possible manner. The kritis that he popularised include Paripalaya (Reetigowla), Bhajanaseya (Kedaram) etc. |
